Programs and Features

Programs

Each of our programs is designed to cater to children at a particular stage of development. Our staff in each class focus on teaching children age appriopriate skills through games, lessons, and play. Our programs are listed below:

Facility Features

The Small World facility is an ideal environment for children to grow. Each program's classroom is packed with age appriopriate toys and games. There's a large outdoor play area with jungle gyms and more toys - outside play is encouraged. Small World also has the following features that set it apart from other child care centers.

Meals Provided

Food is included in the cost of tution. Breakfast, lunch, snacks and drinks are provided to all children. All food is nut free. Appropriate alternatives are served for children with allergies or dietary restrictions. Sample menu.

Music Program

Small World is fortunate enough to have a music teacher on staff. Through the music program children get to learn about different types of music and and hear different instruments. Children are also introduced to musical scales and basic music concepts such as pitch, tempo, and volume.

Computer Lab

Small World has a number of computers on site. Children learn basic computer skills by playing educational computer games. All computer usage is supervised by a staff a member.

Spanish Lessons

Exposure to Spanish language is provided to all age groups, progressing from simple words and colors to more structured lessons at the preschool level.
